A court has sentenced an Afghan man to three months imprisonment and deportation for cutting off a Pakistani finger. An Afghan owner who accompanied his compatriot in the case has also been fined 3,000 dirhams.

According to Gulf News, the 21-year-old Afghan owner of the restaurant, along with his 26-year-old Afghan friend, tortured a Pakistani employee, after which his Afghan friend attacked him with a knife and cut off a finger on the Pakistani's left hand. When the 23-year-old oppressed Pakistani tried to file a police report against the horrific act, the Afghan owner threatened not to pay him if he did so, his visa canceled. He will be deported and will also be barred from entering the UAE in the future.


However, the Pakistani, regardless of the consequences, lodged a report of the incident at the Al-Rashidia police station. He was drinking tea on the day of the incident when the tea accidentally came out of his mouth and fell on the owner's friend. The owner's friend poured his tea on me. The owner and his friend used very vulgar words and then attacked me with a knife lying on the kitchen table.

As a result, two of my fingers were severely injured. I was rushed to the hospital. Where I was treated for several days. However, I lost a finger. After 45 days, I went to the restaurant again and told the owner that I had started filing a police report against them for torturing me. He threatened me that he would not pay my salary, deport me after canceling my residence visa and ban my re-entry to the UAE.

However, I filed a case against him. There were several people in the restaurant at the time of the incident. ”According to medical reports presented to the court, one of the accused's fingers was badly affected and he could not move it even after several months. A friend of the Afghan owner has been sentenced to three months in jail and deported, while the owner has been fined 3,000 dirhams for making threats.
