Dubai News Latest, November 13, 2020 Police in Dubai have arrested three Pakistanis who stole car keys during an incident and have been sentenced by a court to 3.3 years in prison. The three suspects went to a villa to rob a house in the hope of cash and jewelery, but failed to break in and fled with only a car key. Police said the suspects, aged between 21 and 28, were a businessman. Jewelry and cash were looted from the house located in Al-Marqabat, but on failure they could only take the key of the luxury car and they also tortured the driver and guard of the businessman.
The 70-year-old Yemeni guard told the court he was sleeping in a room next to the villa when he woke up to find a masked man holding a knife to his chest, killing him for making a noise. Threatened

They asked me where the cash was in the house. I told him I didn't know anything, so he tied my hands and feet and beat me and then snatched the key and fled.

The 52-year-old Indian driver said that at 3.30 pm, three masked men picked him up, threatened him with a knife and threatened to reveal the address of a remote device to open the villa door. However, when he refused, they punched him hard, knocking him unconscious. After receiving information about the incident, the police immediately launched an investigation and arrested the three accused. He said he knew the businessman had a lot of money and jewelery, which he tried to steal but failed and only took the key of the valuable car. The court also sentenced the three accused to 3.3 years imprisonment and deportation.
