The young man, wearing skating shoes, set a world record 

An Indian athlete has set a new world record in jumping rope. He wore skating shoes and jumped rope 147 times in just 30 seconds.

Zorawar Singh, 21, has set many world records before. He says he has practiced skating six days a week and 4 hours a day.

Zorawar Singh says he used to throw discs in high school.

After an accident, he was forced to quit the game, but he started jumping rope to stay physically fit. He also holds the record for most reverse doubles in 30 seconds while jumping rope. Zorawar Singh also holds the record for most jumps from a long rope in one minute.
