Pakistan made a clean sweep of the series by defeating Zimbabwe in the third T20 match 10 NOV, 2020

ISLAMABAD, Nov 10 (APP): November 10, 2020: Pakistan swept the series by defeating Zimbabwe in the third T20 match, declaring Usman Qadir Komich and Man of the Series the best player of the series. Easily regained 2 wickets in 16 overs.

Zimbabwe won the toss and elected to bat first in the third T20 match played at the Rawalpindi Stadium on Tuesday. Thanks to the excellent bowling of league spinners Usman Qadir and Emad Wasim, the visitors managed to score 129 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

For Zimbabwe, skipper Chi Baba scored 31 and Donald Trypano scored 28. For Pakistan, spinner Usman Qadir took four wickets for 13 runs while Emad Wasim took two wickets. Fakhr Zaman and Abdullah Shafiq started the innings for the Green Shirts in pursuit of Zimbabwe's 130-run target. And gave the team a 39-run lead.

Fakhr Zaman was dismissed for 21 while Haider Ali scored 27. After that Khushdal Shah adopted an aggressive style and played an unbeaten innings of 36 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 3 fours while Abdullah Shafiq also scored 41 runs. Thanks to the responsible innings of Abdullah Shafiq and Khushdal Shah, Pakistan achieved the target at a loss of 2 wickets in the 16th over and similarly defeated Zimbabwe by 8 wickets in the third T20.

With this victory, the Green Shirts made a clean sweep in the series of three T20 matches. Pakistan's league spinner Usman Qadir was declared the best player of the match and the series. Earlier, Pakistan had won the three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe 1-2.
