LAHORE, Nov 19 (APP): Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar has said that anti-corruption drive in Punjab is proving to be fruitful. Complaints have been received. "Our critics who say that there is no change, I tell them that Punjab is changing," he said during a press conference in Lahore with Adviser on Home and Accountability Shehzad Akbar. Inquiries were launched against.

Usman Bazdar said that 3,185 cases have been registered under anti-corruption inquiries during the last two years. The Punjab Chief Minister said that the anti-corruption department had arrested 3,904 accused. The recovery rate has been over 532%. He said that Rs 43 crore was recovered during the last 10 years while Rs 2.30 billion was recovered in just 27 months. Usman Bazdar said that the rate of relinquishment of government land was 6,172 per cent higher than the previous 10 years.

"During the last 10 years, Rs 2.65 billion, while in our 27-month period, more than Rs 181 billion of government land was relinquished," he said, referring to those occupying government land. The cult included political and influential people. He said that all the resources obtained would be spent on the welfare of the people and this is our manifesto. Chief Minister Usman Bazdar reiterated his commitment that the anti-corruption campaign would continue with greater vigor than ever before. Adviser on Home and Accountability Shehzad Akbar said that the results of the removal of political influence from one province to another are before us and there is no political statement in it.

He said that the relinquished government lands were not occupied by a journalist or a school teacher but were occupied by high ranking government and political figures. Shehzad Akbar hoped that possibly the allegations would be leveled by these political figures. There will be a mixed reaction from those whose lands have been relinquished. He said that he would not get NRO from both the federation and the province. Referring to the Report Corruption App, Shehzad Akbar said that the people had lodged more than 6,000 complaints through the app out of which more than 5,000 were acted upon. And there are currently more than 12 hundred pending.

He said that just as the Report Corruption app was introduced in Punjab, it should be launched in other provinces as well. Shehzad Akbar said that there should be a similar app in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa where people can easily register their grievances. The report expressed a desire to give corruption app technology. He said that a statement was being made that only the opposition was being held accountable. In response to a question, he said that as long as the occupation of government lands was going on, according to the law, a ransom would be paid. There is no need to explain the Godfather of the Sicilian Mafia mentioned by the Supreme Court in the Panama case and who ruled Punjab before us, most of the occupiers of government lands belonged to one faction or another. He said that it was not the case that 100% occupation of government lands belonged to members of political parties.
