ISLAMABAD, Nov 6 (APP): The differences between the central leadership of the two major political parties in the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), an alliance of opposition political parties, have come to light. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari during the Gujranwala meeting on behalf of PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif rigged the direct elections on Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and DG ISI General Faiz Hameed and brought Imran Khan to power. On the allegations, Bilawal Bhutto said he was waiting to see when Nawaz Sharif would present evidence.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in an exclusive interview with the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) said that the Nawaz League had not mentioned the name of General Bajwa or General Faiz while preparing the agenda of the PDM. It was argued that the blame should be placed on one institution or the entire establishment and it was agreed that it would be called the Establishment and not of a single institution.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari says that when he heard Nawaz Sharif's name directly in the Gujranwala rally, he was shocked. He said that it was a blow to me because usually we do not talk like that in the rallies. . He said that Nawaz Sharif has his own party and I cannot control how he speaks nor can he control how I speak. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that PDM is definitely the party of many parties. There is an alliance and our agenda is clear in the resolution reached at our All Parties Conference.

He asked whether the naming of General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed as the heads of the institutions meant that the platform of the opposition parties understood that it would increase the pressure so much that these heads would resign from their posts. Explaining that the Pakistan Democratic Movement does not demand the resignation of the military leadership.

"Let me make it clear that this is neither a demand in our resolution nor is it our position as far as naming is concerned. I think that and of course it will happen that Mian Sahib has killed someone without proof," he said. The name would not have been taken and such allegations should have come forward only on the basis of evidence. He said that he does not adopt this method for his own party that I should be directly accused in the meetings without any evidence but Mian Sahib has the right to take such a stand if he wants to.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari termed the naming or direct accusation of the military leadership as a personal decision of Nawaz Sharif and Muslim Nawaz and his party. Bilawal Bhutto said that as far as Mian Nawaz Sharif is concerned, he has been the Prime Minister three times and I am sure that he would not have been named without clear and solid evidence. This is not an accusation that you have leveled against anyone in a meeting. The problem is that due to the epidemic of code, I did not get the opportunity to meet Nawaz Sharif directly, which is very important so that I can meet him and talk about this issue in detail.

He said, "I am waiting for Mian Sahib to present or want to present evidence, but during the APC meeting, I had complained that the deployment of troops inside and outside the polling stations is reprehensible." He said that this is a word with a wide meaning and you cannot point to any one person but at the same time it should be clear that it will not be discussed in the meetings. He termed as wrong the impression that the PPP has not openly stated its position from the platform of the opposition ie PDM and has refrained from naming any person directly. Bilawal Bhutto has taken a clear stand by blaming the military leadership for the alleged rigging in the 2018 general elections, but observers say the PPP is not speaking out on the issue. He said that Pakistan Democratic Movement came into existence in the All Parties Conference convened by his party and the resolution and document of this conference is the policy of all the parties involved in it. Bilawal said that Nawaz Sharif spoke in his own way. It is their right, while I will speak in my own way. We have been struggling for three generations.

Bilawal Bhutto said that he and his party are fully committed to the agenda formed during the All Parties Conference.
