| Educational institutions in Sindh will not have winter vacations this year |
KARACHI, Nov 17 (APP): Provincial Education Minister Saeed Ghani has said that there are already more holidays than usual, so there will be no winter holidays in educational institutions across Sindh this year. Winter vacations are not included. There are already more vacations than usual due to coronavirus.
Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani further said that there is no possibility of winter vacation at present. It will be discussed further in the NCOC meeting at the end of November. It should be clear here that due to Health Advisory Corona. Holidays in educational institutions have been recommended. Corona virus is increasing day by day. In view of the intensification of the second wave of corona and the spread of corona, it has been decided to close educational institutions in Balochistan for three months from December 1.
In this regard, the provincial education minister Yar Mohammad Rind said that educational institutions in cold regions will remain closed for three months, the series of examinations will be completed before the holidays. It may be recalled that in view of the spread of Corona virus in the country yesterday, the decision regarding holidays in educational institutions was postponed for a week. After which a meeting of the National Coordination Committee was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
A statement on the meeting of the National Coordinating Committee chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan said that a decision on educational institutions would be taken a week later. Imran Khan had said that, I tell the nation, this is the time to be careful, if you are not careful, the pressure on the hospitals will increase again, it is time to follow the SOPs once again like Ramadan.
