China also offered full support to Pakistan in the development 

ISLAMABAD, Nov 11 (APP): New Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong has called on Prime Minister Imran Khan. The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of bilateral cooperation on important national interests. Congratulates Prime Minister Nong Rong on assuming his duties as Ambassador to Pakistan. On the occasion, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Pakistan is committed to the timely completion of C-Pac projects. He said that it is important to develop special economic zones, industry and agriculture sector. China expressed commitment to friendship.

The Chinese Ambassador said that C-Pac would continue its full cooperation in the timely completion of projects and would also extend full support to Pakistan in the development of industrial and agricultural sectors. Earlier, the new Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong had called on Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa. A press release issued by the Army Public Relations Department (ISPR) said that the meeting was a reciprocal meeting. Issues of interest and the situation in the region were discussed.

According to ISPR, the meeting reaffirmed the commitment to strengthen Pak-China relations. The Chinese Ambassador praised Pakistan's role in resolving disputes in the region. It may be recalled that the new Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong had a meeting with Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi last week. During the meeting, issues of mutual interest including bilateral relations and the situation in Corona were discussed. During the meeting, the Foreign Minister had said that steps were being taken to ensure speedy completion of all ongoing projects under the second phase of C-Pack.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, while congratulating the Chinese Ambassador on assuming office, said that the whole world knows the ideal fraternal relations and everlasting friendship between Pakistan and China. He said that Pakistan and China fully supported each other in every difficult and difficult time.

The timely assistance provided by China in dealing with Corona is commendable. During the meeting, the Chinese Ambassador assured that he would do his utmost to further strengthen bilateral relations.
