According to details, the government had decided to close educational institutions across the country yesterday. A spokesman for the Federation of Arab Madrassas said that madrassas would remain open across the country. He said that all madrassas under him would remain open.

The madrassas will continue their activities under SOPs. Sources also said that the organizers of the federation of madrassas say that we were not taken into confidence by the government. If the government had consulted with us, it would have considered the closure of madrassas. He added that at present the teaching process in the madrassas will continue as usual.

On the other hand, Kashif Mirza, president of the All Pakistan Private Schools Association, also rejected the federal government's decision to close educational institutions in view of the current situation in Corona.

He said that the All Pakistan Private Schools Federation appeals to the Prime Minister, Chief Justice, Army Chief, Chief Ministers and Governors to keep the schools open under SOPs. The Education Minister acknowledged that private schools are fully complying with SOPs, which is a sign of confidence. He said that the spread of Corona from political rallies and the lives of millions of Pakistanis are in danger. The Prime Minister, Chief Justice, Army Chief and NCOC should stop illegal political gatherings.
